Highly recommended for beginners. Strictly for non-state and non-UCI professional riders. Inactive state riders and ex-professional riders may participate if they have not competed in SUKMA or UCI-sanctioned road races for at least 2 years.

Rules and Regulations

  • Each participant is to register in ONE (1) valid category on their first race of the 2025 series throughout the 2025series.
  • The Technical Director of the Race has the authority to change the category of participants if necessary.
  • Winners for each race are subject to individual transponder assisted placements through the finish line.
  • The number of participants allowed in the track at any one time are 100 individuals.
  • The Technical Director of the Race has the rights to amend the rules in order to ensure a safe and conducive racing environment for the continuation and development of the local racing scene.
  • Participants are encouraged to participate as a team to enable them to collect team points for the Team Classifications.

Team Classifications

  • Starting from the 2025 edition, Team Classification is open to amateur and semi-pro categories to support the development of the Selangor Criterium Series. It is available for the following categories:

    Men Open, Men Master, and Women Open.

    •Men’s Teams must have 5 to 7 riders in the same category. Only the first 5 finishers will contribute points.
    •Women’s Teams must have 3 riders in the same category. All 3 finishers will contribute points.

    Team points will determine the top three teams at the end of the 2025 series.

    All team points are recorded based on each rider’s finish detected by the transponder system.
